and was thinking about you...I've never aided, and I know you have, and I was thinking it'd be nice to run some questions by you (or anyone else who knows something about it). Can't climb wet rock well, so it occurred to me that I should learn some aiding basics so that I can at least get out.

Anyway --by the way, I'm heading up Jervis Inlet next week for a week with a friend to just check out the glacier above Princess Louisa (and the big 1000'+ walls at the head of the inlet). The idea, as I think I was mentioning to you some time ago, is (next spring/summer) to get up on to the glacier and then try to summit one of the many mountains in the range there. (Below, en route up Jervis Inlet back in early April this year, en route Alaska --no trust fund needed! ;-))

Now, guns and chains I can see as good topics...but dogs?
