I just picked up these davits on ebay for $355. I hope they work okay. They are Danforth brand, look in very good shape and are supposed to be rated for 175 lb. each. I couldn't find any info online. Anyone familiar with this brand?

The dinghy is pretty light around 100 lb and, if we get a motor, it would be a small one at 40 lb max. I was thinking they might need some cross bracing to prevent sideways loading.
