Years ago I found out that charcoal starter is really just mineral spirits so I quit spending $$ on specially packaged charcoal starter and began refilling charcoal starter bottles from a gallon of mineral spirits. It is the same exact stuff at a huge savings.
There are lots of such tips that save us from corporate gouging.
Lately I have found that this product from Worst Marine, "Head Lube" really works well. It is a type of oil that you put in the bowl and pump once or twice and then leave it overnight or longer. When you come back to the boat the head works like new. It swells up all the gaskets and seals to minimize any slight leaks and most importantly, it makes pumping go much easier. For my old Groco head which has been rebuilt xx times, it is the difference between a struggle to pump it and effortless pumping.
But WM is pretty proud of this product and it is annoying to pay what they demand for it. I imagine they probably stole it from some entrepreneur who figured out what to use and shoved him off to the side as they created their own product and packaging to displace the small fry.
So what is it really?
and happy pumping...

So anybody know what it is? Wesson oil or something?
