I used Benjamin Moore acrylic-latex based outdoor-rated porch floor gloss enamel paint in the bilge in my prior boat. It came out beautifully, low VOCs, and water clean-up. Rugged hard finish. Cost less than $20 for a quart and the paint store custom-mixed the color to match, and added a mildewcide.
