We use a Danforth about 25 pounds for a 40,000 LB boat

It's out stern anchor hanging on the stern rail. Works fine.

It's suprising how little it weighs compared to the holding power. Thought about getting someting bigger but then why? It works.

20 feet of chain and 250 feet of 3/4" line
