I stopped by the mission operations center last week. The rotation mechanism for the antenna is on it's last leg. Hopefully enough interest is generated to build another one. The shipping industry is another major user group of the data. I'm sure they'll be rather upset (financially) when they can no longer access wind speed and direction data for the shipping lanes.
