This is exactly where I do my ocean swims... is it any wonder why?
This time of year I do dry workouts and hit the pool every now and then, but as soon as that water hits 64 degrees, I start my "season."
Can't tell you the number of times I have come back from a swim to then towel off and sit back to enjoy the view and later sunset.
But don't tell anyone... wouldn't want it to get crowded down there. GRIN.
Have actually seen a couple of boats anchor just off shore there... for the day. Never overnight, but would wonder if you could, legally. It is a somewhat protected area, especially if the swell comes from the south. Water depth varies quite a bit... from about 16 feet up to about 1/4 mile from the beach to over 2400 feet just a few yards further... as it drops off to a marine canyon in the area.
