You've no doubt noticed by now that the CSBB looks a little different. That's because we finally upgraded the 1997 software that was running the forum to the 2009 version of the same forum app.

Among other things you'll find easier photo uploads, larger text fields, user profiles, faster performance, and the ability to edit your posts.

Notably absent is the unbearable captcha (that stupid ass 4-digit code) required with every post.

However, in it's place, registration will be required.

In approximately 48 hours you will need a profile for this forum, set up with a valid email address, to retain posting rights. I figure we have about 48 hours before spam bots find the forum in a big way.

To avoid a massive thread about bugs and changes please send your complaints, suggestions, and bug reports using the email link shown above. The little icons for photos, links, and no-message posts will begin to appear on posts made after this one.

Yes, there will be some pain for a few days but I'm confident you'll find the changes will benefit the board in many ways.
