a two filter approach. When at dock, we use a filter we picked up in Mexico. It's 2 filters and a UV light. This is for any water that does not come from our water maker. It was just under US $200.00.

After that we use a PUR faucet filter (apx US$ 35.00) for drinking water. You can see it at: http://www.purwater.com/#/faucets We got extra filters to take along. We use a new one about every 3 to 6 months.

Has worked GREAT for us and is low in cost.
