The local transfer station/recycle place used to take in computers for recycle. I had an old brick of a Gateway laptop on the boat that the screen finally died on. I took it to the recycle place and they said they quit taking computers. So I've been driving around with the laptop on the front seat of my truck, parking with the window down and the door unlocked for two weeks. Still no takers.
