I have used a metal varnish scrapper (a set with 8 different blades) and a razor blade. With the razor I was able to pop off some of the drips. The varnish scrapper "sanded" / scrapped down the epoxy deep in the grooves.

I also used a mixture of beer and vodka. The beer seemed to work best in the hot sun, I added ice to the vodka and used it later in the day around 5:00PM.

The deck looked really good around 6:30.
