only missed the wire size by 1/16th"! : ) It's cold (-20C) and clear here today so I don't mind talking boats! I didn't have any problems connecting mine but they are beefier than a swage fitting for sure. Of course the heavy duty strength was one of the reasons I liked them. It was very satisfying to make up the rigging last year and have everything fit spot on. I helped a friend re-rig with Sta-locs once and found them fussy and have never installed Norseman fittings but I'm sure that whichever brand fit best would do the job. Have a great day, David
