Most of the concern about mildew seems to be in the organic adhesives used inside the laminate. My sails are covered both sides with dacron taffeta, and have some mildew in those coverings. It is not practical to keep them dry in the hellish climate that characterizes Lake Ontario. Anybody cleaned mildew off the surface with say Clorox or something else?
