...the seller had it painted by the Volvo dealer who went over them for him, they went with an ugly, dark blue... This is closer to the original Perkins 100 Series color, nice and bright, very easy to spot leaks or whatever... I was very lucky I had the weather to repaint it, everything was done outside after all, and the day after it went in the boat, it poured rain all day long...

Good luck with yours, I'm sure it will be worth it all, and more...

BTW, see those little red tabs in the pic? AWAB makes these little sleeves to put over the sharp, protruding ends of hose clamps - highly recommended, they'll help help keep blood out of your bilge... (grin)
