work last year, when my standing rigging was replaced. I had the boat hauled and the deck stepped mast unstepped and placed on horses on the ground. I took the opportunity to add a tri-color, replaced the VHF antenna and ran new wires for 2 wind isntruments and deck and steaming lights. It was easy because a) the mast was on the ground, B) I had some old pull strings in place and c) used the original wiring to pull through the new wires. It was easy work and only took a couple of hours. I have done similar work on the mizzen mast, sitting in a chair. It was cumbersome and took much longer.
