I have doe the copper plating more then 10 years ago. Did not have a problem and for the whole winter kept on building a nice coat after coat of copper.

The result was not a noticable change at all from before. So the copper did not do anything! (What does that tell us about our copper based paint?)

Lat year I wanted to try painting the prop so I took the copper plating off and just used paint.

Next time out I’ll tell you what I find.
