So there I was in darkest Mexico

in the middle of the night, no moon, wind and chop off of Pta Banda, with the only navigation light still working on the boat was my OGM LED anchor light. Made by the same MFs who made the bow and stern LED lights that had taken on water or shock loads or ? and stopped working on the way from Turtle Bay. So I put the old incandescents back on in Ensenada and made it back to SD. There I tried to work with OGM, and told you about that in your last thread on the subject at http://cruising.sailboatowners.com/csbb/index.cgi/page/1/md/read/id/159635/sbj/which-running-lights/ . And I don't like their new lights either; I went with Lopo which have been bulletproof so far, and my second choice would have been the Hellas, but they were just coming out at the time. I think waterproofness is key, and would not go with the replacement bulbs or fixtures with weep holes. Unless you never go to weather.
