Landed on the lens housing and jammed it - will not retract or extend. It's off to the Canon Shop for an estimate of repair.

Meanwhile, I purchased a newer Canon point and shoot type with a 3.5 inch touch screen. Below are a few of the first pictures and HD video that I shot. The video was pretty darn good - up to the time that I tried to zoom it while shooting. That did not work out. However, if you zoom before you start to shoot - works really well.
