Hell, Jessica may well wind up with a quicker circumnavigation and higher average speed in her modest, more traditional S&S design easily driven by a windvane, than Abby's Open 40 which in theory is too fast for a vane...

there's certainly no doubt Jessica's attempt has been relatively trouble-free in comparison, and she certainly appears to have enjoyed the voyage more than Abby has, so far...

Anyone planning to sail across an ocean under autopilot alone, better have either plenty of spares along, or plenty of crew...
