She didn't enter the Southern Ocean once on her voyage - nor do 99% of other circumnavigators unless they call at S Georgia. The Southern Ocean lies south of the Convergence or in simpler form south of 60* South.... ( unless you are Australian ).
The waters that lap the west coast of Tasmania are those of the Indian Ocean.
