Unlikely he turned to port to avoid collision

() COLREGS say that you should always turn to starboard to avoid a collision. A master of a commercial vessel will know this. A skipper of a sailboat should know this. No reason the commercial vessel would have turned to port to avoid a collision (and if it turned to starboard, that should be away from the sailboat).
