I think what you're doing is great! Mucky Duck was one of my kid's favorite "destinations" -- we sailed out to Captiva, anchored off Tween Waters (you could anchor there in those days, not sure you can anymore), dinghy ashore & walked the beach to the Mucky Duck -- spring break every year and they wanted to eat at the Mucky Duck! Great place, I hope it hasn't changed!
