138 lineal feet. The way it's put together......

..is with all 3" screws at every join of the frames. The CDX is held on wtih 1 5/8" screws. At the inside corners, which appear to be unsupported, my guy at 275 lbs can hang from the corner with only a 1/4" of deflection in the shelf.

HOPEfully, it'll bear up as well with 'stuff' on. Most stuff is lighter weight anyway, a few boxes of books that will go into clear'ish plastic containers slid under the bottom on the concrete surface.

It says in the book....

A lot of work which I hope will pay off in the long run. If mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy. In the short run, I'm exhausted. Gettin' too old for this kind of work and my guy does most of the serious work. I'm just the planner/supervisor/hold up one end guy who chips in wherever I can/run for more wood guy while he puts in the screws. Sure glad I got that new 18v Makita driver awhile back. Those Li-Ion batteries are half sized, less than half the weight, but charge fast and run out well. 3" screws use up a battery fairly fast, especially in this KD hemfir wood in which damn near every screw screeches upon insertion. Even waxing the screws has helped only moderately. I'd think cheap screws but only one or two have broken and trying to get one out if it became bent 'cuz I dropped something or other is damn near impossible.

But I digress....badly.....
