finding out about the double male connection and the way it was hooked up. I was assuming that it was a stand alone inverter that had an AC side and a DC side with the AC side that would plug into a standard AC outlet. The standard outlet having a GIF breaker. I still haven't figured out why you hooked it up the way you. It seems to me that the best way to do it without a transfer switch is to just plug the AC side into an outlet and the DC side to what ever you want to power. Then you could plug either one in when you wanted. I'm sorry but I must be missing something. I'll just sit on the side until I figure out what's going on...
