Having recently been involved in two such jobs...

both on thirty+ foot masts done in Awlgrip - with the owners doing the hardware removal and basic prep. The price was $1600. each and included the boom in both cases as well. This is out here in the hinterlands of course but was done in a professional shop by a person who paints airplanes and is very good. Another friend, in Texas, just had his 35 footer done (including all prep and boom) for $2000. So for a 60 ft mast I can only assume twice the money, depending on what part of the country you are in. Keep in mind that Awl-Grip is a very expensive material and constitutes a considerable portion of the job expense. Imron automotive paint is nearly the same thing - goes on nicer, easier to touch-up later and is just about as tough, for much less money. I have seen yet another mast done last month in this medium and was quite impressed with it. In fact, next time I will go with the Imron myself .
