I agree on the Tartan 30

We had one a few years ago between selling and buying larger boats. I couldn't stand to be boatless during that time so I bought one that had been abandoned at a local marina for a thousand bucks. I rebuilt it entirely over the next six months. To this day I am honest when I say it was the best sailing boat I ever owned and I've owned a lot of boats. It does go to weather like a bandit and is very sea kindly. I had the version with the starboard galley and two full quarter berths. I felt like it had a good amount of room on board for thirty feet. Their are days when I think that keeping it instead of buying a larger boat might have been a better decision. Good luck.
