... they tried to do that with another military rust-bucket here in Tacoma a couple-8 years ago (we have 2 doing it already) and no one wanted it ... except the developer (cheap waterfront property for him) ... and tell me that thing isn't going to seep the equivalent toxic by products of a 1000++ or more recreational boats ... were told to move it to Bremerton where they already have 20+ old military rust-buckets ... forlorn and rusting away ... sadly adding to the existing super-fund site ... I'm sorry but the best use of that IMHO would be to decommission it, sink it and use it as a underwater park for fish habitat and scuba divers ...

Not trying to offend but there will always another take on a "bs'g pretty picture" ... which is exactly what your link showed.
