many of the fishing boats are still wood up there and there's a number of documented cases of whale attacks with bad endings. I guess that's why you see so many NUKE THE WHALES T-shirts up there .

Several times Orcas acted like they wanted to take a swipe at us in our little PSC 25 (at least they appeared to - could have been over active imaginations ). Did talk to a couple that had been "bumped" twice by the same passing pod - no damage, but it sure scared them.
