I had a SS exhaust riser with cracks had them welded

and new cracks came to light when I reinstalled it. The boat was Mexico so I had remove it an took it home(Denver) to have it welded,$120 down the drain.
Took it to a shop in Mexico, He cut off the bottom 8" of the 2 " dia tube that had the water input and replace with new, add a new 3/4 barb for the water input, all for $40 and he had all the SS on hand and I got it back the next day. Sometimes thing happen fast in Mexico.

So if you pin holes are around the water input I would see if you can have it rebuild, should be less the $500.
