and found that it was so short-lived in the 5 day cooler (couple days max) as to not be practical. The second time I tried it, I wrapped it up in extra insulation and made a silver bubble-wrap cover for the cooler, but still....

It also adds the extra concern about the effect of such a cold cooler (while it lasts) on some things you may want to keep cool...
