I agree too, I think checking updates is useful if you sail outside your home waters...

I tend to stay in waters that I know quite well. I know where the problem spots are and don't need to worry about where the marks are. The CG can move them all they want without impacting me at all. The granite bottom here in Maine doesn't move all that much anyway
