I had to remove 16 lineal feet of caulk from where a rub rail had been. Using the "rigid" chisel blade it was almost a piece of cake, a pass one way for the worst of it, a pass back to refine it. I'm thinking about 15 minutes overall for the gross removal. I didn't use the "flexible" chisel blade as this was wood. I might have used it on fiberglass but not sure, would have to try it.
I cleaned it up with fifty grit on my 5" random orbit sander and a light touch on edges, full contact otherwise. The whole job took less than forty five minutes. I'm just sayin'....
