We bumped a bunch of times with a 6' draft

() Not really bad though. I gave the lock tender the GPS coordinates of the larger bumps. The worst part were the Deer Flies.
The best part of course is the Dismal Swamp Canal itself. Given the opportunity I'd take that route every time. Just have something to smack the flies with.
