Last year on my old boat, the sole needed a full refinishing. I took it home, and stripped it, then finished with many coats of 'Ultimate Sole.'
Well, now someone else has the boat with the nice sole. The sole of my new to me boat is in decent, but not great shape. I would like to do something to prevent it from getting to the point of needing a full refinishing. I am thinking of TSP and scothbrite pad to clean, followed by Ultimate sole, or a more matte polyurethane finish.
Any thoughts as to the 'not really stripping' I am thinking of doing?
