The "City Marina" is on land that is owned by the taxpayers, but leased by the City of Charleston to the Beach Company, which is owned by one of Mayor Joe Reilly's pals, and managed by said pal's reatives. They won't dredge, to improve conventional slips but are eager to add another megadock. Reilly and his cronies are also opposed to collecting taxes from Megayachts.
