It is a WiMax phone and CDMA20001X. Only Sprint has WiMax... CDMA20001X is available on Verizon, and in a few countries... such as Korea, parts of China, parts of Mexico. No other network provider took the risk of WiMax. Most are going the route of LTE... a similar but different "4G" standard.
