Has anyone tried Chafe Pro?

It was recommended by the highly-experienced folks on Morgan's Cloud and is used on most USCG boats. I'm thinking of trying it for my mooring pennant. That said, I still have most of a roll of old fire hose which works pretty well, so perhaps the winter blues have set in and I'm just 'chafing' to spend some money while waiting for spring to arrive. Still, it looks like a nice product.
