One of the wettest Novembers and Decembers we've had. We got ahead of the normal rainfall by about 5 inches... it was quite nice actually.
Oh and yes, it is reverse mounted... so looks like I get to rebuild it after all.
Right now we are "suffering" from probably the best weather in the nation. At 3:00 in the afternoon it is 75 degrees out and very very dry. Strong winds from the north east. The channel I go through to get to the ocean was listed as "rough" today... although I went down and took a look... I think I could have gone out.
Our next wettest month is usually March... So I'll have to do something by then.
I have to admit I didn't even notice it though... the two asymmetrical Dorades just sitting feet apart... D'OH!
Spent the day yesterday tracing more wires and pipes... looking for chafe and verifying that systems are intact... managed to get the shower working (big plus vote from the admiral) and then spent the afternoon sanding and applying varnish. Discovered tack cloths work quite well. Discovered varnish is much more manageable in warmer temps.
Why is it that even just tracing wires and pipes is so satisfying when you are on your own boat?
