are so far tucked up in the corner that it would have to be pretty bad to get to us. I have only been chased out of here twice in the last 30 years so the odds are definitely on our side. The last time was about 15 years ago when I was woke out of a sound sleep around 0200 while in the air! I got out of the bunk just in time to see the Harbor Patrol towing the dinghy dock past me out to deep water. We managed to cast off and get out from between two power boats and head out. We got down around the East End and back up to Yellow Banks and anchored in 20 feet right up under the cliffs. It was flat as a lake and the wind wasn't getting back down to the water for another 100 yards out. We set there for the next two days before heading back to Avalon via Two Harbors. Have you ever been to "Little Harbor" on the back side? It's one of my favorite anchorages on the entire Island.
