Cruising Sailors Forum Archive

My thoughts and a poll of cruisers on this board.

I didn't want to wait that long. I thought it would be fun for you to get to know this area of the Rio Dulce before we head out,,, like 4 or 5 days.

Are you saying that your flight is ithe 14th?? or are you saying that the birth is on the 14th which means that you won't be here till the 20th of March.

I've been sitting here working on the boat and just living a second life. I'm missing the Admiral but we've been 24/7 for 10 years and it's probably good for the both of us. Feeling that this is just another life I live it really doesn't make much difference. The only real difference is not being anchored near a palm lined beach in 9' of sand.

We originally were going to cruise from January - June. ,,,,, Then it was updated to more of a delivery getting to Florida by the end of April. ,,,, again,,, perhaps we're back to June but just leaving later.

HA! That's the fun part of retirement.

Just give me the flight arrival date. You need to reserve the flight. We pay a small fee to allow us to change reservations at will. Just reserve a flight, and mark the calendar.

About the 'grandfathers are suppose to be there for the birth' statement...,,, I disagree,,, we're in the way....... 'Dennie and her daughter' should have it under control and you should make yourself scarce. Reylyn said she can stay at the house in Dana Point if she wants.

That would mean you could leave next week. I'm good at working things out.

Anyone on this board that got this far. What's your thoughts? Should Steve come to Guatemala so we can head out for Belize and Roatan or wait for his granddaughter to be born.
