Last weekend was a great time to be living aboard in Stamford, CT. It was bright and sunny and downright balmy with temps in the high 40s. The wireless internet at my marina hasn't been working since it was installed, so I volunteered to check it out. I brought my camera along. This is the view of Long Island Sound from the viewpoint of the wireless antenna. What a great day.
The pier out by the seawall is being built to replace one destroyed years ago in a hurricane, I'm told.
And yes, I fixed the wireless. The goofball who installed it had swapped the cables to the POE (power over ethernet) adapter and burned out a port on the Geosat hotbox. That, combined with an improper hotbox configuration.
