Lay out was very time consuming. I

didn't have a lot of space to work with. I'm kind of a nit picker so I installed some terminal boards and power posts for the DC feed and a single multi breaker panel. It took some time cutting the holes in the bulkhead for the various switches. The salt water/freshwater switch was one where the cover plate left no room for error. The control box is not a very good design to say the least. It's + and - posts are barely long enough to accept a wire terminal without a lock washer. It's made so you have to connect the + and - wires prior to putting on the cover but the cover can't be put on with the control box mounted to the bulkhead. You have to screw the cover on from the back side instead of the front which would make more sense. You have to be careful so you don't break anything while you twist it around. Once you get the the switches and control box laid out the wiring is pretty much straightforward. You'll need some female spade connectors for #10 and 14 wires that were not included as well as 4 #10 1 1/2 inch pan head screws for the salt water pump which they didn't supply either. I used a small power post that accepts a #10 lug for the negatives from the control box and solenoid wires that I installed in the negative wire from the battery as there wasn't enough room on the control box negative post. I spent a lot of time mounting the brackets to the floor. It looks pretty simple but lining everything up was a PITA because I had to have it exactly lined up so the lid would hit hit in the right place when open. I hope this helps.
