Gluing teak to fibreglass is tricky
In Response To: A Glue for teak to fiberglass? ()

Epoxy will not last, for the reasons Ann-Marie mentions

We glued teak 5 ft long by about 8" wide on top of aluminium coamings 7 years ago and they hold very well from Quebec to tropics and on to Norway. Lots of sun, water etc with drying and rewetting.

Aluminium is even worse that fibreglass to stick things to

Only way to get off would be in tiny little peices with a chisel

We used Sikaflex.
#M 5200 would probably do it too, but I think sikaflex is better and more flexible.

Do not clamp for a super tight, thin glue layer. Try to ahve 1/16" minimum
