We revisited one of the first Maine anchorages we ever stopped in, Merchant Island, last summer. It's a nice spot, between Merchant and Harbor Islands, with a view to the west over a submerged bar which protects the anchorage. Harbor Island offers a short hike and tiny, tasty berries.
The night before we'd been at Round, after the one spot at Wreck turned out to be taken. Then the pit stop at Billings, followed by a nice sail over to Mark Island and back to a relaxing afternoon here. Calypso had picked up a sister and brother-in-law so they gave a tour (with less time under sail!) down to Isle Au Haut. While relaxing I ran most of the cable for the windlass I'd mounted in May. (It didn't turn under power until the day in late August when Tom Young and family arrived in Onset.) Hard to remember that it was once warm up here!
