of what the 'minefields' of Maine look like. I grew up in Maine and yet could not deal with the incredible maze of lobster pot buoys in my last season there 5 years ago. I didn't return for another season before heading to the west coast, primarily due to the constant tension or negotiating the buoys. Took all the fun out of it for me (but I DO love a lobster feed!) Blue Hill bay was my favorite sailing ground because for some reason the pots were noticeably absent.
