I want to glue a 3/4" plywood block to the top of the stainless tank below to be the mounting base for an overboard discharge pump. I'm thinking of just slapping it down with 5200. The alternative in mind would be epoxy or JB Weld. This would be in the engine compartment so it does get hot, and of course there would be some expansion/contraction of the tank at a different rate than wood.

Would appreciate input.
