I saw the dock master looking at the height of the pilings last night. 
In Response To: Storm Surge ()
He and I figure that if the surge is more than 9 feet the docks will float off the pilings at our marine here in Stamford. High tide is around 11:30 AM and it's about a foot and a half higher than normal. Timing will be everything.
