The Champlain Canal didn't get the damage the Erie did. I'm guessing that once the flood water recedes it will reopen. But looking at the photos of the damage to the Erie, I wouldn't be surprised if it stayed closed.

The photo below is of the Waterford Harbor Center. It didn't look too bad to me until I realized that the first floor is underwater. What you see is the second floor.
