I am in the final stages of getting my 1936 power boat ready to launch for the first time since 2004.
My list is:
1. Set 108 bungs on the stbd side bottom, trim those bungs and the 211 I set yesterday, sand the bottom fiar and put two coats of bottom paint on it.
2. Install the head and holding tank and put the rest of the ceilings back in the head.
3. Connect the water system to the faucetts and connect the water heater to the engines fresh water side (requires installing appropriate fittings on the engine.
4. Hook the electrical panel back up and wire the bilge puimps and fresh water pump.
5. Put the cushions back on board and clean up the residue of 4 years of boat work from the boat.
6. Test run the engine again and call the hauler.
The pic below shows the port side yesterday after I put the second coat of bottom paint on. I am only going in for 3-4 weeks this Fall, so I am going to let the varnish on the house go until spring.
