This cruising stuff ain't for sissies. I was docking at Liberty Landing Marina and turning the boat in a very tight space using the port engine in forward and the starboard engine in reverse when I lost the starboard engine. I had to back out several hundred feet (for you rag baggers, that ain't easy with a twin screw boat), back down the length of their fuel dock, and back into another waterway and onto a dock. That was done without hitting anything.
Then last night I awoke to the floorboards floating. We only woke up because the cat jumped off the berth and into several inches of water and made a splash.
Seriously, you can't make this shit up.
It's all in the blog, which Pamela wrote this morning because I'm way too tired.
So today I need to find the bilge pump thru hull and put in a loop and change the engine filters and bleed the lines. Piece of cake.
